Artifactory integration with Visual Studio?

rschaeferhig
We currently use AntHillPro for both Build and Deploy automation. We use AHP's Codestation feature for storage of third-party binary artifacts (JARs and DLLs) that need to be included in a build. Java binary artifacts are included in ANT builds via a dependencies.xml file. MS binary artifacts (DLLs) are included via a Visual Studio Plugin that allows browsing of Codestation to identify required artifacts (i.e. NLog DLLs) and include them via a dependencies.xml file constructed by the plug-in.

Is there any similar integration between Artifactory and Visual Studio? If not how are artifacts "discovered" to be included in a Visual Studio/MSBuild build process?

Hi Richard,

if you're talking about .NET development, Artifactory _Pro_ has NuGet support.

For C/C++-style use, this very unofficial set of Gradle plugins can be used to get (and publish) zip files of DLLs, header files, etc., with Artifactory/Gradle ...

Hope that helps,
