Latest release artifact from virtual repo

Ganesan, Ramaprakash
I use a virtual repository that includes all the required repos for our project.
The issue is that one of the repositories being served up by this virtual repository contains ‘snapshot’ versions of an artifact that are of a higher version number than the release versions. So if in my ivy file I specify ‘+’ for the version number of this artifact, I pick up the snapshot version instead of the release version. I want the latest release version to be picked.
I guess I’m looking for a workaround for that. Any suggestions?

Re: Latest release artifact from virtual repo

Ariel

Hi,

Have you tried to create a virtual repository that does not hold the snapshot repositories?

This will guarantee that only the releases will be picked from the releases repository and not from the snapshot repository.
