Setting repository update interval

dalepres
I'm configuring artifactory and testing downloads by deleting my local repository and then updating my project in Eclipse.  When I try to update the project I get an error that dependencies can't be found and that resolution will not be reattempted until the update interval of central has elapsed.

How do I determine, set, and/or override the interval?  I know I can build from the command-line and use -U but I'd like to work in Eclipse and just control the update interval.

I've googled this and can't find definitive documentation on this.  I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Dale

Hi Dale,

Artifactory does not cache missed retrievals of Artifacts from local repositories as it does with remote repositories (see this documentation: https://www.jfrog.com/confluence/display/RTF/Advanced+Settings#AdvancedSettings-CacheSettings).

If your use case is with a local repository, than this should be configured on the client side, the best option would be to run Maven with -U.
