Why is it different about deploy artifacts between rest api and UI?

nate
hi, After deploy a jar package by rest api, the jar package can not be expanded on the tree view  of UI, that is display all items in the jar package,  .but  if I deploy same jar package by UI operation, it can be expanded on the tree view and view all items in the jar package.  when can help, why it happens? is there some problem about rest api deploy artifacts? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Can it be that the deployment process, using the REST API, finished with errors?

Ariel

hi Ariel

Thanks. there is no error  in the deployment process using rest api. also I tested to deploy a zip file,  it aslo can not be expanded. and if I download this zip from artifactory, it can not be extracted directly, there is error 7zip throws :'The Compressed (zipped) Folder is invalid or corrupted', but if I remove the extension name .zip from the file name, 7zip can extract all files well.  is it a bug of rest api?

Thanks,
Nate

Hi,

I totally figure it out, it is due to restsharp that changes request format is not suitable with artifactory. thanks
