maven-metadata.xml in Tree Browser since 3.1?

Florian R.
We upgraded from 2.6.7 to 3.1.1.1 and now I can see a lots of folders containing an "maven-metadata.xml" file. Is this by intention or did I make a mistake when upgrading? I made a fresh install and made a full system export at the old and a full system import at the new system.

Hi Florian,

I saw this as well and I think I found that the files were there in 2.x, but not shown in the tree browser.  Instead the file's contents were shown on one of the tabs on the right, I think.

Florian R.
Hi Hugh,

Thx for the idea to search other pages, I haven't found them in the Tabs, but in the Simple Browser they were already displayed in 2.x too. So my import seems pretty good *happy*

Best Regards,
Florian
